South Africa's Femal Tribal Chiefs Often Rule in Fear

In this Article it talks about how many chiefs of tribes are afraid of the people that they rule over. The reason for this is because many of these chiefs are women. Many women sre afraid to sleep at thier home because they are scared that the men are going to come to her house and hurt her, maybe even kill her. In 2007 the chief of Mthonjana village was shot dead and then she was burned in her own hut by four men that did not want to be ruled by a women. This article opens our eyes and lets us know that women don't always have thier rights.

  1. Here we see how many once again fear power. As many do in Cry, the Beloved Country. They fear it that they take matters in to thier own hands and they do what they think is right. They think what they think needs to be done and that isn't always the best way to go.
